Attorney General William Barr – in a speech in Michigan this week – outlined the real threats to the West from the Chinese Communist party – stating that 80% of US federal espionage cases and 60% of Trade Secret Theft cases – involve Red China state companies In his words, the Chinese Communist party were enacting a policy of economic blitzkrieg – using as their tools – Currency manipulation, Tariff quotas, State led strategic investments and acquisitions, Theft, False transfer of intellectual property, State subsidies, Dumping, Cyber Attacks and Industrial espionage Barr – urged American tech companies who had colluded with the Reds – to finally stand strong with the American government and the American people to resist Communist pressure. American companies putting next quarter profits first before all else – would result in the stealing of the prosperity and freedom of the next generation of Americans
