This week saw the Canadian Bill of Rights destroyed not by external forces or anti-democratic forces but by the Liberal Icon – Prime Minister Trudeau.

For the first time since the Emergency Act was created, it is being used by Trudeau to have dictatorial powers over the Canadian people – citing the damage to the economy of the continuing lawful Freedom Convoy; as one of their prime motives.  Yet nowhere in the definition of a national emergency legislation is the economy mentioned.

National emergency legislation clearly states

3 For the purposes of this Act, a national emergency is an urgent and critical situation of a temporary nature that

  • (a)seriously endangers the lives, health or safety of Canadians and is of such proportions or nature as to exceed the capacity or authority of a province to deal with it, or
  • (b)seriously threatens the ability of the Government of Canada to preserve the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Canada and that cannot be effectively dealt with under any other law of Canada.

In fact, many could argue, that the Liberals 2-year China flu lockdowns – did multiple times more damage to the economy than this 2-week “Freedom Protest”

 

Thankfully – some true liberals are standing strong against this cynical grab for power.

The Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) announced today that it will pursue litigation to challenge the federal government’s use of the Emergencies Act; declaring that “This use of the Emergencies Act is unnecessary, unjustifiable and unconstitutional.”

“Our society needs peaceful assembly – a critical democratic tool – even though not every person agrees with the content of every movement.”

“The emergency orders that the government has tabled are not targeted. They are not limited to specific protests, or specific geographic locations. They are expansive emergency orders that have already come into effect and apply equally across the entire country. And they place unprecedented restrictions on every single Canadian’s constitutional rights.”

Bank accounts are being suspended across Canada – treating donators to the Freedom Convoy as worse than “people smugglers” and/or “drug cartels”.  An illegal hack of the “GiveSendGo” domain is being used by the government to target donors, instructing banks to suspend the individuals bank accounts– and Twitter is allowing the hacked information to be widely shared on its platform – in contravention of its own “Distribution of hacked materials policy”.  Hunter Biden is protected by Twitter – the “people” are not.

Ending China flu restrictions and mandates is now the only way forward so that hard working families can “take back control” from respective western Government’s overreach…

The “freedom convoy” has re-lit the flame of freedom in the Western World – and Trudeau can “huff and puff; threaten and abuse” but will never defeat the people.
