Whilst the Johnston government in London is becoming increasingly incompetent – and month by month, becoming more of an embarrassment to we, the Brexit Populists whose votes allow them to govern – we can only, still thank the fact that we are not living in either Scotland or Wales, where the Red Nats and socialists are using China flu as an excuse to “steal” more power from their citizens.
The Omicron variant is the latest example of their thirst for emergency powers. Before the variant had even been analysed by global scientists; “Red Nicola” was declaring that a tsunami was going to ingulf Scotland.
On December 22nd when it was reported “Omicron is behaving in a way that is less severe,” said Prof Cheryl Cohen of the country’s (South Africa) National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD), “Compellingly, together our data really suggest a positive story of a reduced severity of Omicron compared to other variants” – the Scottish government was announcing further restrictions from December 26th and the cancellation of all New Years eve parties.
Not to be outdone, the Welsh socialists announced a maximum of six people will be allowed to meet in pubs, cinemas and restaurants. Licensed premises will have to offer table service only, face masks will have to be worn and contact tracing details collected.
Furthermore, just to show their anti-business credentials – the Welsh socialists announced fines would be imposed on any employees going to work – which in “their opinion” could be performed at home.
You may wonder where these “half-wits” conjure up these ideas? Is our police service now to be employed – stopping anyone who seems to be travelling or walking to an office. How will they be able to judge if the individual’s presence was needed in a work environment? Will this now end up in the hands of a struggling legal system?
Unfortunately – the answer seems to be – that actual data is no longer relevant unless it can be used to keep the population in fear, that it fits the “tsunami” narrative of the Reds.
But just as troublesome is that the “Right” is cowering in fear – rather than exposing the red power grab – it if paralysed with inaction – like a rabbit caught in a car’s headlights.
Now more than ever, we need Populism to bring sanity and common sense back into public life on our small island.
