{"id":2648,"date":"2022-02-19T20:02:29","date_gmt":"2022-02-19T20:02:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/far-right.co.uk\/?p=2648"},"modified":"2022-02-19T20:02:29","modified_gmt":"2022-02-19T20:02:29","slug":"canadian-bill-of-rights-violated-by-liberals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/far-right.co.uk\/?p=2648","title":{"rendered":"Canadian Bill of Rights \u2013 violated by Liberals."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week saw the Canadian Bill of Rights destroyed not by external forces or anti-democratic forces but by the Liberal Icon \u2013 Prime Minister Trudeau.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time since the Emergency Act was created, it is being used by Trudeau to have dictatorial powers over the Canadian people \u2013 citing the damage to the economy of the continuing lawful Freedom Convoy; as one of their prime motives.\u00a0 Yet nowhere in the definition of a national emergency legislation is the economy mentioned.<\/p>\n<p><strong>National emergency legislation clearly states<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3<\/strong>\u00a0For the purposes of this Act, a\u00a0<strong>national emergency<\/strong>\u00a0is an urgent and critical situation of a temporary nature that<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>(a)<\/strong>seriously endangers the lives, health or safety of Canadians and is of such proportions or nature as to exceed the capacity or authority of a province to deal with it, or<\/li>\n<li><strong>(b)<\/strong>seriously threatens the ability of the Government of Canada to preserve the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Canada and that cannot be effectively dealt with under any other law of Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In fact, many could argue, that the Liberals 2-year China flu lockdowns \u2013 did multiple times more damage to the economy than this 2-week \u201cFreedom Protest\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully \u2013 some true liberals are standing strong against this cynical grab for power.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA)<\/strong> announced today that it will pursue litigation to challenge the federal government\u2019s use of the Emergencies Act; declaring that \u201cThis use of the Emergencies Act is unnecessary, unjustifiable and unconstitutional.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur society needs peaceful assembly \u2013 a critical democratic tool \u2013 even though not every person agrees with the content of every movement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe emergency orders that the government has tabled are not targeted. They are not limited to specific protests, or specific geographic locations. They are expansive emergency orders that have already come into effect and apply equally across the entire country.
