As covered in earlier articles, the re-emergence of Big Government during the first and now the second nationwide lockdown – has been not only an erosion of the individuals personal liberties but an unbelievable case of Government overreach from borrowing billion upon billions of pounds on behalf of the taxpayer (without having the courage to advise how it will be re-couped) – to keeping large sections of the population in fantasy jobs, overspends on track and trace, £750 million spent on ventilators – far above market prices, PPE failures…and the ludicrous slogan that we have to save the NHS.
Is this the same NHS that we, the British people spend close to £140 BILLION POUNDS on per year…and when we have the first crisis in three generations –the NHS can NOT cope
Boris should remember that
- In 2019 the Brexit party formed and led by Farage – wiped out every other political party in England – winning EACH and EVERY English region – relegating the Conservative Government to 5th place…even trailing the Greens.
- It was the Brexit party decision of deferring of standing in countless constituency seats that allowed the Red Northern wall to turn Blue in the subsequent general election
The Conservative are being put on notice – that the same silent majority that was tired of the failure to execute Brexit after the 2016 referendum is now fast becoming the same silent majority that is tired of further lockdowns without a clear and precise road map and without parliamentary approval first
As Farage comments – the new Reform UK party – have a Herculean task ahead from dismantling powerful vested interests. The House of Lords, the BBC, the way we vote, law and order, immigration. Badly run, wasteful quangos are in abundance. The Home Office is not fit for purpose. This Government has taken cronyism to a whole new level. Waste of taxpayers’ hard-earned cash is off the scale.
It is NOT the NHS that needs to be saved BUT the British economy
